a marriage is a union between 2 people who both have free wills to make decisions. Because they are getting a divorce has no bearing on Gods' power or ability to impact you or anyone else, so there is plenty of hope for all who call on his name! Her ministry won't be ruined, I assure you! Keep in mind that leaders including pastors are human like you and I, (only Jesus walked on water) so that said, they are not perfect, they make mistakes and lastly we don't worship them for being leaders.

txredeveloper, the Word of God (bible) says that marriage is a covenant between God and man. The world teaches that marriage is a contract; something that can be broken by the decision of either party. This is not God's way. A covenant is only broken by death. Both of their ministries are ruined because divorce shows two things; 1. you do not know/beleive the Word of God and 2. you do not know God's priorities (God, marriage, family, ministry).

If you marry the "wrong" person, you must realize that your vow was to God, not them. YOU chose your spouse instead of God, but you stood before God and said "until death will we part."

If God didnt put us together in marriage, I dont think he will sanction it. Although the PASTOR says God's word, it was not ordained by God and it will flop!! Min. Nona I agree about what the bible says; however to say they don't know the Word of God discounts everything else that they have done RIGHT in their ministry! With Jesus' death grace and mercy became available (not to be abused) to us. In my Bible based opinion, 1 sin (transgression) doesn't disqualify you from being used by God. The disciples all had numerous shortcomings (sins) and they walked with Jesus!
