It is so sad that so many Jamaicans are so accepting that GLBT people are murdered and abused. Prejudice is not acceptable in any form and like it or not, Jamaica will have to grow up and , like the rest of the civilzed world, respect the rights of all its citizens.
jamaica has all it need and dats not guy if dats wat u want just move go buggery over inna england & U.S make dem keep dem money (paper) give mi back our gold ban cash 4 gold
Holness dont fall for the trap, to be honest i think they might pass the law Jesus is coming soon and these things will come to pass. Secular lifestyle is the new norm and the jamaican youth is more open to the lifestyle. Iam totally against homosexuality, it is unnatural and perverse. In the end the aide and fall out and sanctions jamaica will get will force our country to repealing the buggery law and then it will be sodom on earth again.. sad day in history when ja has to do it.
What a British ass kissing sellout. Jamaica is going to be ruin for its culture, this is so sad. Instead of fighting gun war and drugs in the country they are promoting something that is unnatural.
I'm kinda upset by Prime Minister Holness's comments. I am Christian and therefore am against Homosexuality but I understand that they should not be harmed for their practices( however unnatural it is). I am all for their protection but in no way should it be promoted and encouraged as being normal and unnatural. The International community needs to recognize that they cannot strong arm us into accepting their ungodly practices and that Jamaica is still a God fearing nation.
@kiaransali God fearing nation..let me laugh about this !!! killing and murdering is going on in Jamaica and you call it: god fearing..how sad is this...I cant laugh, I have to cry about this comment.
Sad country..emty hearts.
The safest countrys are the buddist country. These people are really close to god.
@tanjahlove Excuse me but do you even know what Buddhism is about and are you saying that in Buddhist nations there isn't any violence? The presence of violence does not negate the presence of God; your claim that Buddhist are "really close to god" shows your ignorance of Buddhism, because in fact Buddha makes no claim to being God. I'll stand behind my God any day as being the Sovereign and one true God and I will not have you insult my country as being "sad" we neither need or want your pity

@kiaransali actually your comment makes you look ignorant. Buddhists do not praise Buddha.
