  • Wow, this is an even longer version of what I found lyrics for...this ROCKS! :D

  • The language may be from a different country, but if this doesn't get you grooving (even a little bit) you're probably from a different planet.

  • @Swordofswordom then in that case this planet is my home planet :)

  • @Swordofswordom, @tartopfan Yep, I'm from this planet too. :)

  • I'm trying to learn the german lyrics, and it would probably be a whole lot easier if I knew German

  • The guy in black tries to look serious at 4:20 but fails :D

  • who knew captin hook was german

  • This isn't the full version. This is the BEST version :)

The biggest song, the better song.

  • when i view other versions of the songs the words are completely different, why is that? German is my native language, and when i watch the english version the lyrics do not add up hahaha

  • @cjshisno7 Having written songs, The syllables in lyrics have to work with the rhythm. In a sense it's very limiting. Also, direct translations don't rhyme at all and sometimes don't make grammatical sense. I think songwriters start over when working on a foreign language version. It's like in 99 luft balloons how the English version is completely different.

I like hearing songs in their original languages and just learning what they mean, and enjoying them that way, for all these reasons.

  • @ChoppedLiver44060

oh yes i agree with you. i know that directly translating may or may not make sense. i just wish that songwriters would try and make the songs similar. well you understand what i am trying to say, ja?

  • @cjshisno7 actually, yeah, I do :)

  • @ChoppedLiver44060

hahaha the German version may be singing about love and family, then the english version may sing about buying a new car and driving it quickly haaha. just an example :)

  • @cjshisno7 I prefer the original language every time. I listen to a great deal of foreign language music these days - mostly German and Japanese. I feel.. not only am I more educated, I am diving into a new cultural experience. It's enriching. On top of that, I learned a few words! I could probably say things to you in German.. but I'm not going to make an ass of myself and act like I'm fluent :)

  • @ChoppedLiver44060

I assume you are either from England or you are American, yes? i'm glad you are looking into other languages. almost a;; non-English speaking European countries learn neighboring languages simply for just being able to know at least. i listen to alot of English rock songs, i have trouble understanding rap. Feel free to try and sprache deutsch mit mir. :) i will be nice. i am not fluent in english, but i am close, still i find myself using internet translators sometimes

  • @cjshisno7 American. I love German and British metal. German is in my heritage, ancestors are from Baden Baden area. It's a part of me and I want to know more about it.

I think I might know somewhere around 500 German words, but I'm not immersed in it daily. I know for a fact if I lived there I'd do fine. More of us Americans should embrace our heritages. It's part of who we are.

  • @ChoppedLiver44060 I understood there's a lot of words for I, You, and me, and they're used in distinct patterns. Versteh du mich?, for instance. Sometimes it's confusing b/c I have seen the patterns broken, someone will use mir when it seems they should be saying mich, etc.. That's something I'll just have to learn phrasing to overcome.

When I saw how Japanese grammar works, it's absolutely in reverse order. Makes for easier rhyming, though!

  • @ChoppedLiver44060

German and English are actually very similar. Yes, there are many ways to say I, me you. Ich, mich, du und dich are the most popular. English has many ways as well.. and black americans are always coming up with new words that we Germans think are honestly very dumb :)

  • @ChoppedLiver44060

Americans usually do not learn other languages simply because English is the worlds most popular lanuages, i have a friend in the state of new york who i met during a exchange student program. i love the american people, the world paints a bad picture of them when they are really not any different from the world. Europeans forget that America is full of Germans, Italians, french, Irish, etc. if we all lived in the same country we would be wild as well :)

  • @cjshisno7 well you're absolutely right on one level, but on another - just as you mentioned hip hop.. we have an extremely ugly side.. actually several ugly sides. I think I'm disenchanted with what's going on over here. I don't really feel represented and I grew up here. If this were different, I don't think I'd be looking elsewhere for entrtainment. I like a lot of nations for what they are and I can learn a lot from them.

  • @ChoppedLiver44060

All nations have problems and flaws. I am not sure exactly what you are trying to say? I am aware that America has a serious gang problem and gun crimes. But as i have found in re-search most gangs come from South America. Germany is not perfekt, we have not had a bright last 70 years if you know what i am mentioning.

  • @cjshisno7 Well I'll this off the comment board. I'm sending a friend request and I'll email you after I got home from work tonight. It will be nice to discuss this, I have a feeling that we'll both learn a lot from eachother!

As for Germany's history, there's a lot of folks (most seem to be on the wining side) who can't seem to accept that the past is done with. I noticed this with all the pearl harbor comments after Japan's recent catastrophy... IMO WW2 is over.

  • @ChoppedLiver44060

Very cool, send me a message i will be sure to respond. Do you have an xbox? Perhaps we can play some games before Germany stops selling all of our violent games hahaha.

WW2 was well something that happened very long ago. Both sides suffered serious loses, i think we need to accept all that happened and honour the memory of those lost. You faught for your country, i fought for mine. Leave it be. That is how i view it.

  • @ChoppedLiver44060

Also while i was in Washington D.C i went to a place that honoured all of the soldies fallen during the WW2. In a way i felt horrible, knowing that my grandfather may have killed one of the men on the wall. After falling in love with the Americans i see it is the youths job to make sure we become allies and make sure our countries never go to war again.

  • @cjshisno7 You are SO right about that. I look at it this way, soldiers do their jobs, and politicians do theirs. I can easily draw that disctinction, though I believe that was not a possibility in the heat of war.

We have a lot to lose if our nation's leaders don't take their heads out of the sand.

  • @cjshisno7 Hmm it says your channel is unavailable. :(

  • @ChoppedLiver44060

    How can i fix this?

  • @cjshisno7 I can see your channel now, I don't know why it was being so strange. I'll write you tonight! thanks!

  • @ChoppedLiver44060

    Tschüs!!

  • @ChoppedLiver44060

well in a way i think that WW2 was a good for your country. America was in the middle of a depression, WW2 gave America very many jobs. In a way, the reason America is one of the three major countries now is because of WW2.

  • @ChoppedLiver44060

Bitte versuchen sie es noch einmal

  • @cjshisno7 Got it, thanks!

  • uhulllllllllllllllll amo ,acho que na encarnação passada eu era cantora e bailarina!kkkkk Adrenalina pura!

  • Absolutely awesome video. Thank you for posting-

  • @fredj What a horrid comment. I REALLY could have done better, considering how epic a video this is. The LONG version of Moskau, which I have yet to find anywhere else, WITH the lyrics subtitled, AND an amazing job of seamlessly synching all the different performances to create a single video long enough to feature the entire song.

My sincere apologies for not giving you a compliment the first time that's worthy of your video. Simply PHENOMENAL work-

  • @fredj Thank you very much! I really appreciate that you've taken the time to tell me that.

  • THIS IS A WONDERFUL SONG AND YEARS AGO IT WAS A BIG HIT IN BRAZIL, CONGRATULATIONS!!! FROM KIKO, IN BRAZIL

  • PEOPLE PLEASE LOUIS POTGIETER WAS NOT GAY IF YOU THINK SO PLEASE SAY IN UR MIND MAYBE YOU HURT PEOPLE WITH THIS!

  • @romulanprincess and eresuntont He was not gay, nor was he exactly manly. It was just their band 'style'

  • The face of Louis Potgieter is like Jesucristo

    stranger face!

    Face of gay!

    hahaha

  • @eresuntont Who cares if he was gay or not! He was a great performer!!

  • Louis Potgieter danced like a beautiful woman in another video!

    He is gay!

    Transsexual woman?

  • @eresuntont What a mean thing to say. You should be ashamed of yourself. Louis was an extremely talented, extremely MANLY dancer. And his orientation is none of your business.

  • @romulanprincess, Louis Potgieter died of aids

    Potgieter: gay

    He is a mamacita!

    hahaha

  • @eresuntont Yes, he did. I still fail to see why that is any of your business, or why you seem to feel the need to insult a wonderful person, who I truly doubt has ever done you any wrong.

  • @eresuntont FUCK YOU! LOUIS POTGIETER ISN'T GAY!!!!!! HE HAD A GIRLFRIEND!!!!!!!! how i know? i know his sister so SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!

  • There should be a "Rock Band" game that features this song! This song would best fit in the game because the base, drums, vocal, and guitar are heard. How many of you think this song should appear in the NEXT "Rock Band" game?

  • @CrackUpCliponica Why not just make an add-on?

  • No spelling errors. Excellent job with this with the cuts. This song is fantastic.
