At the end the order was placed in ~7 milliseconds, not microseconds. Milliseconds go out to 3 digits. Also, the video would probably be better without the person covering up a large portion of the screen.

Rithmic does not have charts. The key functionality of the system is low latency execution and automation of trades while traders use other charting services.
