  • Am I the only one who didn't know Jimmy Page toured with The Black Crows??

But then again, in 2000 I was probably zooted and missed it!!:(

    This shit is KILLA!!!

  • Has anyone ever told the singer to stop cupping the mic with his hand?! It sounds like he's singing through a megaphone.

  • It makes me want to just go home and crank my amp as fricking loud as possible!!!

  • This is awesome!

  • Pagey is in better form here than at the Knebworth shows of '79.

  • holy crap

  • Que som é esse, bicho!? Sensacional!!

  • absolutely haunting song!

  • This is pretty BAD ASS!! Nice work guys!! Wish I had been there. Looks like Page recovered nicely from his broken pinky lol.

  • Can't believe I'm saying this, but I think this is the best live version of this song I've heard. It still makes me cry every time. Jimmy Page is poetry in motion.

  • Just lately after a 20 year break - I'm re discovering the genious of Jimmy Page - he has been accused of being sloppy live sometimes but when you look at the songs he has created his musical legacy is just enormous - th is is one of my favourites of his - a very haunting tune.

  • Absolutely brilliant!!! Thank You for posting this!!!

  • I LOVE this! I really like how Chris sings this. Perfect. <3

  • This song always brings a lump to my throut

  • unless that's number 2

  • in 2003 the bridge pickup is all black cover rremoved...what gives?

  • never new such a thing happened! Yes, I DO live under a rock...

  • Great performance but look at 4:42 hoy Jimmy laughs and denies at the mistake they made. Previously Chris began the verse a little bit earlier than he had to and when he finished the lyrics the guitar still had to go on two more tempos and Jimmy had no chance and stoped playing the riff, hahaha. The solve it without any problem.

  • @jimmipage77 yeah they fixed it good!!!

  • @jimmipage77 _Jimmy laughs AT nothing. Jimmy is pleased. ;) Excellent cover. Love IT!!

  • @jimmipage77 And that's what make the difference between a great musician and a mediocre one. 'The show must go on' is not just a catch phrase - it's a talent!

  • @KDub1963 You're absolutely right, I just wanted to point a funny moment hehehe.

  • @jimmipage77 I love when things happen like this too...especially with great musicians...it's a 'real' moment.

  • I cried..

  • Page hasn't missed a beat.

  • 2:41 EPIC MOMENT

  • last great real rock and roll band coverin one of first great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • so cool,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

  • What a masterpiece of a song. And these guys nailed it live. Jimmy makes it look easy. Damn.

  • WOW

  • Damn this makes the third different version in row I listened to this and it gets better and better.

I so wish I could meet Jimmy in person and thank him for to continue to give us the best years in rock and roll hands down.

  • probably the best ten years gone you'll ever hear

  • @kmy137 I think that's the best Jimmy Page LIVE version of this song. Still like Robert Plant best on vocals though.

  • @weezy337 Good point!

  • the black crowes are bad azz enuff butt the hook up wit jimmy is epic, and look at all the bands jimmy has hooked up with over the years ,thats passion for wat ya love,ROCK-ON!

  • This sounds fantastic!! You can hear all the guitar parts that Page had on the studio version.

  • Jimmy is best!!!

  • Absolutely awesome!

  • This is sooooo fucking good!

  • I've have "Live At The Greek." Page and the Crowes compliment each other beautifully. They should definitely get together and make another album, live or otherwise.

  • Fucking PERFECT!

  • saw them live at the Greek in LA on this tour. You have no idea how f'ing incredible of a show it was. 3 hours of Jimmy and the Crowes belting out Zeppelin tunes. It was pure heaven. I was blown away by how tight the band was with Jimmy for the entire show. I've seen the Crowes live 8 times and the truly know how to bring it live. Chris always sings with so much passion and soul. Thanks for posting the video. Brought back some great memories!

  • I was never a Black Crowes fan, but they did a great job here with Page. The twin Telecasters really thicken up the sound, and Page gets his "army of guitars" sound.

  • As much as I love everything Zeppelin did (up until Jonesey took over) I think this version is what this song was always waiting to be. The Black Crowes are everything Zeppelin could have been if they'd had an orchestra of guitars and Chris Robinson's vocals. Great footage.

  • They should have went and made some albums and called themselves - Jim Crowe ... no ... Black Jim ... no .... Led Crowes. Yeah...

  • Phenomenal!

I like it as much as the Physical Graffiti version.

    Excellent singing too!

  • Dang, that's excellent.

    Thanx
