Before i played fallout, I used to find this song rather peacful and put myself in a state of tremerity and euphoria at the same time, now though,.... After playing the game I found this song nauseous, remembering those ugly dreadful ghouls, the sense of radiation bombarding my body, and other sick mutated fuckheads.

I never played this game as a kid.(hell no was my mom going to get me a M rated game) I played Fallout 3, and I fell in love with the feel of the game.I bought Fallout 1, 2 and tactics at Target(LOL?) a few months back, and oh damn am i obsessed over this series. playing Fallout and Fallout 2 now as an adult makes me totally nostalgic.

Back then, game makers had to rely on more than just graphics, they had story, music and atmosphere.

That being said, I suck so bad at turn based games.

I don't think FO3 is a bad game. It's just NOT FO. You can have some fun playing FO3, but not only the game is shallow as a spit on the floor as the geme isn't even near as funny and sarcastic as the first ones.

But I am not even considering the option of seriously touching Fallout 3.

Being what it is, 3 is trash compared to 1 and 2, that's the truth.

I saw my comrade play it a lot, and I was genuinely disgusted by it.

The graphics are nice, and the voice acting is nice, other then that

the game is a piece of garbage.

Never played the original Fallout before. Only Fallout 3. I know that they are both different games, but I would like to try it out. My computer isn't really old, but it's the 1st version of Windows XP. In other words, it can run the original "The Sims" perfectly, along with the expansion packs. If my computer can run "The Sims", would it be able to run the 1st Fallout game?

Some old games are a pain to come back to after all these years (when we had Crysis, Oblivion, and other), but I can say - Fallout 1, 2 is not one of them.
