Yea really.. I bleached my hair once like you and all my friends accused me of wanting to be white. I took it as a joke and joked around but in reality.. that's not true. So what if I went through a spontaneous change? I never accuse others for trying to be asian cultured when they dye their hair black? I don't understand why I deserve to hear such things! :(

Actually Xiaxue, i mean no offence but there are some people out there who actually do want smaller eyes because it is found in some people that they have protruding eyes and want to make them smaller. What if I have both? My left eye is a parallel lid and my right eye is tapered, and no matter what angle I do when I take a picture, it's always obvious. It looks like I have asymmetrical eyes. :( What should I do?

1.i think some ppl dont get that in asia (like korea,china, japan mostly) they beleve in 1 strikt bauty formular containing big eyes. That doesnt mean they all hate what there eyes look like and asians being unconfident with there looks

2. i think she didnt mean to say your natraul ugly if you have small eyes but most ppl want to have bigger eyes = pretty

3.i dont think asians have smaller eyes than white/black/caucasian its just because of the eye shape the appearance is diffrent (smaller)

Actually there are makeup tutorials to make your eyes look smaller (pixiwoo have one on youtube) and it's for the people who have really big, round and protruding eyes (I have a friend with eyes like this)

to say that small eyes are not pretty is really ironic when a asian says it... your own eyes are not big... they are small and that is fine of course. but you would offend your own race when you say that small eyes are ugly, because asian people have small eyes compare to caucasians, africans etc. unless they wear circle lenses, fake lashes etc. and that is fine... asian people are beautiful WITH their small eyes

How do I know that they dont do any of these things? well I went to Malaysia and met my husbands family and friends (all chinese malay) they are mostly poor and cant afford any of that but still have big eyes. Plus I have seen tons and tons of caucasions/whites with smaller eyes than most asians

@JandVshow She's Singaporean, so it's likely that she speaks Mandarin/Cantonese and also English regularly, but she considers English her first language. She seems comfortable with English in her blogs and videos etc so I can't see why that's so hard to believe. I grew up speaking Malay and English but I consider English my first language because I'm more fluent at it. But still I do have a Malay accent since that's hard to get rid of especially in a mixed culture environment. :)
