DMRC has replied to the RTI. The RTI reply mentions that,
“Further, your suggestion to reserve separate coach ‘only for men’ is not found feasible.”
Interestingly in reply to another RTI to the DMRC, some interesting facts and figures have come up. That RTI has been described here.

Are you living in Canada? Do not really understand how can you justify phisical assualt by female police. I never seen in Canada that really happens. I was in Kamloops, British Columbia for a short period, First of all police are liable to protect the law but not the punish the offenders. Here we can see that police are assulting. Punishment has to be done by according to the law. Not just slapping someone, thrasing, using abusive language etc.

@Maxsarkar I know that, no need to know whether you came here. said that Indians behave differently than Foreigners in Public. So comment on Indian contest. Indians vandalise public infrastructure arguing its their money , thats not the case in Canada. I am repeating again Indians are not aware of minimum public manners. So don't compare these two extremes.

@pravicpu As a woman I find this offensive. Since when has Shakati needed protection? What in the hells name are other women doing when a fellow woman gets into problems on our streets which are not reserved. This duplicity of ignoring constitutional obligations (the same women will use caste/ creed etc to refuse employment and association) but then jump on constituional protection to get a job themselves (gender equality). A woman is not a dog that it needs protection!

@pravicpu No it is not different. India has become careless with its children and its soul. The babas and achriyas and sadhus and sants have sucked out its brians and emotion. Baby boys and girls are not born with preloaded mind hardisks that this is the way to behave. Also, as the Egyptians, Baharains soon Libyans are finding, they give birth to boys and girls ( especially the Bharani 16 year old who rushed to plant a flag infront of the guns) who have changeablehearts and minds and aspirations

Jab khud k saath hoti hai to sab k mirchen lgti hain. But doosre k liye koi kuch nahi bolta. In news channel waalo k ek reporter ko peeta hota to ye uchal uchal kr aate, lekin ab koi kuch nahi bol raha. sab k sab kutte k kaate hue hain.........

Mahatma Gandhi was kicked out of a first class bogie in South Africa despite having bought his ticket and for the sole reason that he was a black. Back then, Indians and dogs were not allowed entry in parks, clubs and first class sections of trains. Now, Indian women are supporting apartheid of a different kind - men and dogs would not be allowed in women-only coaches. The form of apartheid has changed from blacks/Indians to men. We really need another Gandhiji to fight these women.

@manigarg21, so true. I saw the complete video and a couple of men are from very decent backgrounds. They were roughed up and beaten black and blue by the female cops.

News channels should protest against this. but they are also giving just news nothing else. this is very shameful man. The video is on Youtube. this is more shameful than being beaten up. This is not the right way to apply something. There should be some fine only. The police dont even know ,how should they deal with an aged person. There is no protocol or anything. Shame on the system...............
