the regenerator is not magnetic. i had somthing similar like this happen during matchmaking. i jumped into the man cannon. but a dead body was in the other one. i flew right next to me. and it counted as another live player coliding with me in mid air. but anyways, the body was flying faster than me so i was knocked back to the other platform.

I just thought of something... Can you throw a player by throwing a spike or plasma grenade and they sort of get caught on to the stick while you still throw it. Of course they have to be right next to you in order for it to work at all if it does.
