  • sorry i know I just commented but this is really that good. I just re-watched it as an encore to itself. I ran out of room before but this is among the very best executions of this I have heard/seen anywhere. You don't just perform this, you toally own it! Every sing gesture shows planning and musical intent.

  • this is really lovely. Tchaikovsky really had a gift for melody. This set of concert transcriptions is pretty spot on. I prefer the Taneyev score but for little reasons that do not take away from this wonderful performance. One of the finest moments in the ballet. I mean really 390 views and this has been up since Feb 11? (Hopefully we'll see this get hotter going into the next Christmas season). Really thanks for loading this. His melodic projection is outstanding and fantastic full tone!
