No clue. I usually save my Silver Lights for the last battle since Star Lights are efficient for everything else in the game.

Maybe I was just good at finding chests, haha. I don't think Silver Lights are dropped from monsters.

@TelicNotionX Yeah, I do the same thing. I only used the one before that because I had run out of Star Lights prior to my fight with the Black Fiend, and Lemina was out of MP.

Dude, relax, I didn't mean anything by it, it's just a video game. You won, who cares? When I play Jean, her strongest attack is the uppercut that delivers every enemy some damage. I rely a lot on Jean with my game strategies, I'd never let her go mute for more than a turn. And Leo's Soul Blade attack is probably the most powerful move he's got. I just wasn't expecting to see someone beat the end without using those moves. So, relax, eat some chocolate, feel better. No worries.

Blue Dragon Palm > Blue Dragon Wave, dude. Wave is a group mob cleanup. It's also a waste of MP. Palm = 10 MP, Wave = 32. The difference in damage is marginal. Sounds like you're the one that doesn't know how to use Jean. XD

She was silenced for most of the fight, Slam Dance = additional damage per turn, her best damage move is Blue Dragon Palm. I'm not exactly sure how more efficient I could be with her besides curing silence earlier.

@TelicNotionX Actually, slam dance is basically useless, since it does about a third of a blue dragon palm damage AND it lasts only three turne.

Basically => slam dance = Dragon palm in damage, but the mp cost of slam dance is ... Ouchy.

@TelicNotionX To be fair, it's better to use Leo as bait. Leo's normal attack can hit twice and can crit so the silencing issue isn't a problem, AND he has good health, speed, and defense stats.

FYI, Jean can't hit 13 times in EBC, they nerfed her attacks. She can hit a max of 7, and in this game, much like SSSC, regular attacks versus bosses = gimpy.

So yeah, Slam Dance + Blue Dragon Palm slam is basically the only boss strategy for Jean.

This boss battle is epic, unlike in other games, here u cant beat him doing mistakes. You must have regular strategy, not only attacking. First u must destroy healing hand, then magic hand, in the end helping hands and in the end THE HEAD.

But most touching here is the peach they made when Lucia gets free from him. Its so touching and make u really wanna protect the world. This game have preety boring battle system but very very good story! I even prefer it then lunar1.

You can't destroy Zophar's actual hands first. During the phase before Lucia heals you, Zophar and both of his hands augment all damage to 0. You can destroy the helper hands during that phase (which is a good idea because they spam all of Lucia's spells, and they get a massive power boost once Lucia is freed).

@Pumpie I was fighting this boss like 100 times u know :>, and first boss i beat normal, he second one when Lucia is inside of him, im just defend(im just healing by rofer when hp go really low), then Lucia go out of him, heals me(beofre this she have cool speach!! which is just giving u power to fight vs lord of darkness). And Just now the real battle began with strategy I wrote. For me it was most usefull like this for me. I really love this fight. I even have still save file :D

@fennaas Oh, okay, I get what you're saying now. I thought you meant during the FIRST phase, while Lucia is inside. During *that* phase, it's impossible to kill the real hands first.

But if you like a challenge, good job! I kept getting killed when I left too many hands alive. >_< Kicked my ass.

Final Fantasy & the 1st two Lufia games are great, but they don't have this type of battle style (like part tactics, part not)

Valkyrie Profile is...kinda similar. I haven't played a game that's exactly like Lunar.

If you want turn based stuff, the Wild Arms series is good.

Thousand Arms if you want a little different battle mechanic.

Star Ocean has more action based battles.

Breath Of Fire III & IV are classics. Legend of Dragoon also, if you haven't played that.

^ A small list of RPGs that I remember that are good, imo.

While I said on later video that all the dialogue is the same, there was one minor change. When the fight starts, Zophar says "You will regret coming here for the rest of your lives... Which by my count, will only be about five minutes." That's the one time he why don't here his voice when he speaks.
