Well, the say that Dreamland beach in Bali is the best surf beach in the world. Otherwise they have lot to do before dreams come true in Bali´s Dreamland...
Gone are cozy wooden houses where the atmosphere was as in a buddhist temple.. Who is going to ENJOY this place now?? The locals, who do Kuta beach for the crowds and the sunset? Tourists who seek rest and relaxation?
Nobody will. The beauty has been destroyed and sold for money. And soon the waste is going to be pumped in it like at Kuta and Lovina.
It's like putting a shark in a 10 feet aquarium and having it stalled in your living room to watch nature from close by..
well, in fact i think i´m not as well going soon back to bali´s dreamland. but ubud is great and other areas of the island which are not so spoiled with mass tourism.
ughhh, the walk down to the beach is one thing....but the walk back up again nearly killed me :) Hopefully, they'll do something about the track that leads you to the beach coz it sure isnt for the faint of heart! The beach is beautiful but i've seen it once and wouldn't bother to go back for a 2nd look.
With all due respect, sad to hear that the only complaint on this murder committed on a beautiful local beach by making it into a concrete block is the "burden" of walking the stairs..
We were more than happy to walk the stairs as often as needed to have our surfers' paradise for those who enjoy nature until even a few years back, before this madness began. Now this unique and beautiful beach has been spoilt by mass tourism..
So sad, we destroy everything for money and our convenience.
So sad what has become of dreamland glad i went there before anything was built.
