It may have seemed strange or foreign to him but that is how one makes sausage, by shoving the meat, spices, and salt into the animal's intestine to preserve it longer.

That is right. It is because that "New Light" guy lied. Mac announced his statement was false and violates the international beef standard Mac has set and used. The guy already apologized to Mac for it. It is unclear who uses such things but it looks like big companies like Macdonald or Burger King are not involved.

i think Americans should know this- Mac burger and other meat products could have been made with SRM included meats- that can cause mad cow disease. i read Wall Street Journal also says so. and it's terrible thing to feed cows with dead cows, isn't it? anyway, if it's true, we shoul boycott Mac all over the world, i think.
