Thank you so much for posting this! I just got accepted to New Paltz the order day, and I really like this school. Quick question for you guys if you don't mind me asking- I've heard from a few people that the students at this school can be cliquey because a good majority of them know each other since alot of the students are from the NYC/Long Island area. I'm not, so I was just wondering if this accusation is true?
@nickmag941 Not at all. It is true that a majority come from City/ Long Island areas, BUT in my four years I've never been around that. I am from the city, but I feel like everyone is open to meeting everyone. There are so many programs, organizations, and on campus events...believe me...you won't feel left out. Just be willing to put yourself out there...it all starts with "hello" :-)
