No, the spy's blade can one hit mobs. The Guardian is essentially the tank of the game, it can take a beating and the staff doesn't require ammunition making it both cheap and a good melee weapon. Grenadiers can use flame throwers (those are awesome) but the sword (spy) still does the most dmg.
careful guys... I smell the same troubles like WoW... 50% of the server are rogues(also coolest choice)... u wont be accepted easily in parties. Chose a medic. (i will take spy for sure=D) WoW habits Die Hard
Spy is the tabula rasa version of rogue I would say. Stealth, blade and greater damage if you attack from the back. Guardian is the tank in tabula rasa and will probebly be very accepted in parties
I agree, the "stealth" class with highly powerful alpha attacks are always among the most popular class in any MMO game (WoW, CoV, SWG, AA, etc.) but at least stealth armor doesn't grant real stealth in PvP in TR. There's too damn many spies on Orion already.
Yep with a spy with stealth armor you could stand right behind a thrax for 3 seconds without it noticing (with max blade skill you do like 4 times the damage)

My brother was a 20-30 around the time so we played a little and he went sniper. I liked sniper and noticed there weren't any swords in the game. He told me that spies had them so I went spy a few weeks later!
I've seen the spy, sniper and guardian; but is the exobiologist class any useful. I just ordered the game, and I'm sorta torn between a good necromancer support class and the regular tanks.
this is just speculation but I think exobiologists are pretty good with injection guns that bypass armor and the ability to raise the dead and even make a temporary clone of yourself, I think they'll be great

i wanna be a spy also. but u can create clones of ur character and create a new class so there will be a balance of classes.

Here's a good idea, make a 2 clones and then make one a spy and the other a sniper and your original char a guardian.
