  • OH MY GOSH, NOSTALGIA!! My childhood, right here.

  • childhood it's good to see you

  • when did this show start was it the late 80s or early 90s does anybody know?

  • @thesimpsonfan270

    late 80's

  • @thesimpsonfan270 The series first aired from 1988 until 1991 on ABC. After production was over, reruns continued to air on ABC until January 23, 1993. In 1997, when Disney's One Saturday Morning was introduced on ABC, Winnie the Pooh was brought back in reruns, in which it aired until One Saturday Morning became ABC Kids in 2002.

  • @thesimpsonfan270 The Disney Channel began airing the series on October 3, 1994, and continued to air until September 1, 2006. Playhouse Disney then began airing the series from 1999-2006. But when the channel rebranded, this program was ridden off. It also aired on Toon Disney from the channel's launch in 1998 until 2004 (returning briefly in early 2007). In the UK, the program aired from 2000-2011 on Playhouse Disney.

  • @thesimpsonfan270 and as for the books, they were published in 1926. winnie the pooh was named after the bear named winnie and christopher robin milin's (21 August 1920 – 20 April 1996) first stuffed teddy bear

  • @VANISHMANS123456 Surprisngly, after years of not watching ... it's on full blast and the lyrics are coming out of mouth faster than I can remember them.

  • Can we just admit that being an adult sucks?

Why do we keep breeding? Stop making other people suffer the same fate.

  • @georgelopezblows What the? LOL. But yes, being an adult does suck. And George Lopez blows! Him having a career in entertainment defies logic.

  • thumbs up if you knew all the words

  • @VANISHMANS123456 ...knew?

  • i remember this!

  • i used to have a SHIT-TON of retail VHS tapes of this show. but i haven't seen them in years. oh god, the memories...

  • I Used To Love Winnie The Pooh Alot When I Was A Kid The Reason Must Have Been My First Toy Was A Plush One

  • Oh man, I remember this song! My childhood! I still love this song :D

  • I cried, seriously... Memories of hanging with my grandma, eating ice cream and watching The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh are flooding my brain. I feel like a better person after watching this...

  • 0:46 always gives me chills. I don't know, there's just something so magical about a world where you can just climb up on a hill with your friends and watch an aurora. Without any pressing matters or concerns or bothers. Just... magic. Pooh Bear, won't you take me there?

  • :'D Pooh, I love you and your friends forever!!

And I remember all the words to this song! :)

  • man havent seen this in years

  • So I take it here that most of us here were born in the 80's and 90's. I nearly cried when I saw this intro. Brought back my childhood.

  • I GOT CHILLS.

  • I would always wake up to this opening when I was little T.T

  • 17 people had no childhood

  • @AbsoluteGleek92 Or more like born in 2000.

  • People disliked this work-of-art 17 times? Don't you negative dumbasses known its a SIN to dislike this stuff with fluffed bear? Winnie the Pooh forever!

  • Man....Memories like whoa

  • I loved this show when I was 5...I always liked Tigger b/c he was so happy all the time...never liked Eeyore b/c he was too much like myself (I have depression due to PTSD and physical health problems), but Piglet was my favourite b/c he was such a cute little guy. He had the funniest part in the new movie..."Can you knot?" "I can not." XD

  • Im kinda of ashamed to say this since I've always fuckin hated the Pooh cartoons as a kid growin up, but now I'm 20 almost 21 and I have realized this makes for better kids show, matter of fact scratch that, better SHOW than the shit we, the people like Us who loved anything from the era of good entertainment, are stuck watchin in the '10s.

  • if theres any show I miss more then any of them... its this one

  • I am 16 years old. this was and always be the most cherished memory of my childhood. I love Winnie the Pooh Damn it. I miss being a kid :'(

  • I use to rent this on VHS in watch it on TV

im 18 years n i still believe that pooh and the other disney characters r my heros n they will always b in my heart! unlike those stupid celebs in disney channel now!! XG

  • O my God... I'm already starting to tear up already... I love this show!! Eyore's my fave!! :D I'm so glad I was a 90s kid!! :D

  • Paul Winchell, John Fiedler and Hal Smith did amazing job on this show.

  • @jojo33355 Yea, isn't Chirstopher Robin like, the only human who knwos about Pooh and friends?

  • Omg now all they hve is the stupid cgi ones that look tooo animated :p

  • It honestly made me cry knowing that when I have kids they won't know pooh bear like this. Only that new cgi boring winnie the pooh.

  • I don't want to grow up. I wish I could be young again and just sit and pretend.

  • @utupoe111 don't we all feel that way

  • This was what I watched every morning before school.

  • This series won 2 Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Animated Program

    of 1988 and 1989.

    Sad isn’t it

  • Love It!! <3

  • This show was my childhood in a nutshell. When I saw the newest movie, I cried. I will always love Pooh.

  • @zoetherebel You will always love what?

  • @taker1z Don't even start dude. You're not nearly as funny or clever as you think you are.

  • @zoetherebel I know, but I just had to say it.

  • the music is so peaceful

  • GOD DAMN IT. IT'S HARD TO WATCH ALL THESE OLD CARTOON INTROS.

  • *cries* TV today SUCKS

  • WHAT IS WRONG WITH TV TODAY. HAVE THEY FORGOTTEN THEIR ROOTS? SOMEONE PLEASE REMIND THEM OF THE CLASSICS, OF WHAT WE GREW UP WITH AS CHILDREN. AND THEN PASS THEM ON TOT HE NEXT GENERATION

  • Illuminating television!

  • this was pooh that new crap pooh show they had on is horrible my little siblings dont even like it thats who ther markiting to

  • I often find myself singing the first two lines of this when I wake up in the morning...

  • Oh my gosh the memories... Pooh is my childhood.

  • Dear cable networks, please make a special channels showing cartoons from 1900-2003, sincerely all 90's kids.

  • @LizaMMX Have you ever heard of "Hub"? You can watch Batman Beyond and Where On Earth Is Carmen Sandiego there, among others!

  • @cgsilverscreen2020 Yes. I watch the original Transformers and Adam West's Batman on it. I wasn't aware of the others. Never really watched either of those. After the 1990's Batman The Animated Series went off the air I was so disappointed I never watched the other Batman shows. (other than the Adam West show)

  • Oh Cheffalump,

    You've made this 19-year-old smile

  • *sigh* I loved this series when I wwas little. Plus they made a movie this year for it. The art is wonderful, and it's made so that we can all enjoy it. Thank you Disney. Thank you for not making 3d, or changing anything about the characters like putting them in the real world. :) Disney has it's good times(like toy story, Meet the Robinsons, Wall E, etc), but there have been times where Disney has disappointed it's older crowd.

  • My hero. I will always love him. Even if it sounds nostalgic, I am happy I grew up with Pooh, Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers, Cptn Balu, Darkwing Duck, Lion King and all the other classics Disney produced.

Wonderful times. Thanks to Disney and my parent for making me have such a great childhood.

  • @nehhmo And don't forget about old school Nick!

  • Thumbs up if you sang along :)

  • Don't give up everyone, we have to support the new film if we ever have another hand-drawn animated film from Disney (and other studios for that matter). So far, Rotten Tomatos rated the film 91%! That's telling us we need to do this so Disney won't have another excuse to rid 2D animation. And I'm letting Harry Potter's box office records stop me to be nostalgic and having a great time in the theater with Pooh bear! Disney animators did their part, lets do ours for their graditude.

  • So now everyone can enjoy Pooh in the theaters! :D

  • This is ABC!

  • New live action winnie the pooh with a rap opening song by lil wayne would be soooo good

  • @FireBomberBassist Um please don't attempt to fuck my childhood up by suggesting it be associated with some disgusting faggotry like lil wayne or any other sorry excuse of a human that makes this generation the way it is. Thanksandbye

  • @kinsmon123 Lol wow.

  • @kinsmon123 agreed

  • 90s... Good times.

  • "Illuminating Television"

  • Best intro ever!!!!

  • Is it bad that I still know every lyric to this song at 18 years old? :I

  • @CaptainVodka3 Lol no. no it is not :)

  • I just had to see this before going to see the movie. I mean this character was my childhood. And this particular show was the kind that can be enjoyed by anyone. I'm 27 and I can admit that. Pooh still holds a special place in my heart. I can never hate him and as friends. Just like how the Nostalgia Critic can't rip apart a certain Sesame Street movie.

  • 90s cartoons were the shit- Rugrats, Rocko's Modern Life, Looney Tunes, Arthur, Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, Darkwing Duck, Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers, TaleSpin, Recess, Johnny Bravo, CatDog, Hey Arnold, Doug, Ren & Stimpy...etc

  • Greatest show ever!

  • Dear Disney

If you ever in the future make a live action movie where Winnie the Pooh goes to New York so he can rap while wearing a red hoody. I will single handily come to your main studios and tear it down. BRICK BY BRICK

  • @OcoryustheBold your talking about alvin and the chipmunks right?

  • @OcoryustheBold

    You have my sword.

  • @OcoryustheBold Well no it's not live action, but they are remaking a classic Winnie the Pooh movie in the 100 Acre Woods that is hand-drawn animated. So they didn't ruin that classic feel. Honestly, those computer animated series of Pooh for the toddlers killed it for me.

  • @OcoryustheBold Was that Smurfs or Alvin & the Chipmunks? I boycotted both.

  • @OcoryustheBold Can I come with you? I know you said single handedly, but you'll need some people to hold off security.

  • @bobdude213 I'll come to. I'll bring the pitchforks and torches.

  • @OcoryustheBold Well, so far, they gave us a traditionally animated Winnie the Pooh movie, making a deliberate attempt to be as much like the original Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh as possible. I think they know what people want.

  • i luv winnie the pooh i wish they still it. i cant wait till the new movie comes out and even though im a rising senior in high school i will be going to see it and probably with my mom lol.

  • ... is it wrong that I nearly cried hearing this and remembering my childhood?

    ... okay, I lied, I DID cry.

  • @SakuraCourageSolo No. No it is not. It is one of the best TV programs Disney ever churned out.

  • @SakuraCourageSolo no its not wrong. i cried a little too. i wish they would bring these shows back. i miss them so much.

  • @SakuraCourageSolo not wrong at all!! if disney brought back these shows, i would start to tear up because my childhood is the best part of my life! watching pooh every morning was simply amazing!:) lately, since i'm about to graduate, i watch a bunch of these videos on youtube and online and i become so nostalgic and i start crying... so no! definitely not wrong!! disney ruined us by bringing these teeny boppers and stuff like hannah montana on... they just ruined me-____-

  • @SakuraCourageSolo I used to love all these old cartoons <3

  • @SakuraCourageSolo

no it isn't wrong at all i'm looking up theme songs from my childhood i'm 15 and all these old shows that aren't on anymore and actually this one was the straw that broke the camels back i'm crying so hard now

  • @SakuraCourageSolo me toooooooo! i'm here sniffing, tears running down my cheeks! aww i miss those days man. the kids today have no idea the great shows they've missed

  • @SakuraCourageSolo Its not wrong. I cried too.

  • Comment removed

  • @SakuraCourageSolo no it's not, I did too, it's a sweet little song.

  • As seen on Naruto Forums.

  • Omg. I remember watching this every Saturday morning. I wanted to join Pooh Bear on his adventures too!!!! Take me with you Winne the Pooh!!!!

  • i loved waking up to the intro song at 5:30 am before we get ready for school

  • I wish i had the download link T-T i missed this song

  • God I remember waking up early sat mornings and watching this as a kid... good times!!!!!!!

  • this song makes me wanna get crunk and jump around like waka flocka flames

  • This series was awesome. Have you the garbage they've put in its place? Uhhh.

  • omg! this really brings back memories! I always used to watch this on 1 Saturday Morning when I stayed at my grandparents' house on weekends! sometimes I wish I could go back to that much simpler time *sigh*

thanks so much for posting this!!! :D

  • i think i just teared up a bit god i miss thease shows:(

  • When I was really young, I was watching this series on VHS. I loved watching it when I was upset nobody would play with me at Kindergarten.

Now that my family sold all of our VHS tapes, just watching Christopher and Pooh sitting by the tree at night... it makes me cry. It's because I know that the past was the greatest time of my life and I'll always have good memories of Winnie the Pooh.

  • I LOVED this show as a child. /sigh it's a shame kids now do not get to experience the wonderful cartoons we did in our childhood.

  • This song is so catchy (; I used to love this show! Still do actually

  • the show was good for three reasons

    1. Jim Cummings made us laugh and smile with Pooh & Tigger

    2. You felt upset when Piglet was in danger and always wanted help him

    3. The Voice of OPTIMUS PRIME was IN THIS SHOW!!!! Im serious and he played EEYORE!!!!

  • this takes me back about 18 years ago too bad show right now are kind of overrated
