  • was this named after or based ported on the bbc micro game?

  • @nickantibarney

The title screen makes reference to the BBC Micro version. This port for the Amstrad was programmed by Duncan Gamble, whereas Adrian Stephens came up with the BBC Micro original port.

  • The BBc version and this are close. The BBC version had many jingles and sounds packed in however.

  • You know the original Donkey Kong was going to be a Popeye game? It was going to be Bluto chucking stuff at ol' Popeye. Looking at it doesn't it make more sense these two fighting over that babe Olive over a construction site?

I wonder if we would be playing New Popeye bros nowadays instead?

  • this version looks like shit smells.

  • Why a lazy sod?

It was a clone of the BBC version.

  • Duncan Gamble was such a lazy sod.

Nice playthrough though, even if it is just a cheap clone.
