I'm 12 and know the theme tune of by heart and being english I can sing like a hillbillie and also I have watched all the episodes and my Mum calls me Ellie May becaus I like the name:)xxxx
Did the scene of the animated Lucille Ball & Vivian Vance rolling up the credits influence the clown rolling the credits at the end of 'Camberwick Green'?
Sure do remember all of 'em except 3 and 7,...hmm...either didn't air in the state of utah or they might not have lasted that long on the air,..great vid alleycat62021, thumbs up and thankin' ya for the COOL UPLOAD!! =D
Vic Damone and Bobby Darin on Andy Williams... that takes a lot of courage for a singer like Williams to put two such top level singers on his show.
Johnny Carson wasn't from 1962... Ronald Reagan did not become Governor until January 1967. Also Johnny didn't have that much gray hair in 1962 and Doc wasnt the band leader until 1967...the show was regularly broadcast from New York in 1962 also.
From the couple of seconds of the actual "Lucy Show" episode here, I could tell which one it was. it was the one where Lucy and Vivian Vance install a shower.
You can see the Beverly Hillbillies on WGN america and the jetsons on Boomerang from cartoon network I love lucy here in New Orleans can be seen saturdays only at 1:30pm and 2:00pm On Local christian/indipendent station WHNO20
I miss the old shows and I enjoyed watching the intros. It's been a long time since I saw Combat and the Andy Williams show. Makes me feel like a kid again.
I know! You're the one who started me putting the 50's and 60's show together. In fact, the very first I did were 40's (named pre-50's I think) as a video reply on your videos for boomers. :-)

All these shows, including the Jetsons, are from 1962. I was four years old at the time and remember Beverly Hillbillies, Combat, Jetsons, Lucy..

The Jetsons theme was the 80's theme. Is that right.

@Paul8820 I don't think so, Paul. I remember this theme as it was not from the 80's
alleycat62021 1 year ago
@alleycat62021 There were slight differences from The Jetsons original 1962 theme and their 80's theme. You'll find out.
