Blagojevich was a terible governer. You obviously aren't from Illinois (if so you don't pay much attention) because his approval ratings were 5% before he left office, and there is a good reason for it. There are many things wrong he did that I am surprised that it took them this long to impeach him. Selling a senate seat is despicable and low even for him. Tell you what, just go to wikipedia and type in Rod Blagojevich. Then scroll down to controversies. Wikipedia is often accurate.

Impeachment trials are not the same as judicial trials. In impeachment trials, you have no rights to due process. The legislative body doesn't have to let you present witnesses, nor evidence in your defense. This is the same as on the Federal level. So, our Congress could've impeached Bush/Cheney at any time, without allowing either of them to present any evidence or witnesses. But Nancy Pelosi, of course, took impeachment off the table - and America has suffered for it.

She hinted at investigations on Bush during the 2006 elections then backtracked after it started bringing out the right wing base, after she won it was shelved.

"Hinting at investigations" is not putting impeachment back on the table. I believe they call that campaigning. She was running against staunch pro-impeachment candidates Cindy Sheehan and Shirley Golub. So, it's obvious that she might want to hint that she would investigate. Impeachment got shelved as soon as she declared it "off the table" and she never took it back off the shelf.

Nancy Pelosi is one of the most prominent traitors this country has seen in quite a while. Her actions, with respect to impeachment, can be correctly characterized as treason -- as well as obstruction of justice. Apparently Californians just don't seem to get it, as they keep returning this evil little bitch to he position as House Majority Whip.
