Err... forgot to say that 4 is bursting with excellent characters and themes, but the story is lacking. It also has my favourite incarnation of ARMs.

I myself started with 4, borrowed 3 from a friend, bought 5 tenth anniversarry edition, bought XF, bought 3, then got 1 & 2 for my PSP from the playstation online store. I wish to find Alter Code F, but I'm glad I got all the stories. ...Still need to check out the anime and manga though.

Oh, 3 had the best gameplay, but XF has the BEST story by FAR!!! I still love Weisheit!!! I want a prequel and a sequel for XF... play it and you'll see what I mean.

Wild Arms 2 is still considered by alot of fans to be the best one. If you can find it, definitely get it.

-Except for most people. Wild ARMs 2 also got the worst critical reaction of any of the Wild ARMs series ever recieved. Search it up for yourself.

Maybe some people liked it because it is long, but long does not mean good. The story seems like they ran out of time and money on the second disc.

@xgunnBlaze nope that one was awesome, I wouldn't say the best though, but by the looks of it the first looks like shit, but idk about the gameplay cuz I haven't played it yet, but atleast in two they improved the graphics, and it has a good gameplay.
