you know whats reall fucked up about this whole cover? is i have the same guitar, and its like three hundred bucks at most. i dont know, it looks like fender squier to me. but i may be wrong. hes good, really good. but its not a super amazing guitar, and this shows that you dont need three hundred les pauls (slash you wasteful fuck long live GNR) to show how good you are. all you need is one reasonable guitar and you can work the same magic as on a les paul or telecaster or strat. keep covring..

My advice, forget teachers, just pick an easy-sounding song that you like, and find the tabs for it on Ultimate-Guitar. That's how I learned from the very beginning.

As long as you put in the time to practice, and you really have to, then self-teaching is just as good as paying money for a teacher to waste your time (especially when you spend like two weeks learning 'the basics' only) :-P.

It's a Yamaha Legend. Some old-ish thing I picked up for about 1200Bht, which works out to around 34USD.

Then my amp was 2000Bht, a Fender Frontman 15G, around 57USD.
