(2-continuare)Azi, 22 ian.2012 te-am vazut prima data pe YouTube dupa multi ani si m-am bucurat nespus de mult, batand din palme ca un copil cand te vedeam evoluand la aparate. Mi-aduc aminte ca la TV te numeau "Vulpitza" pt. ca aveai o guritza si o privire foarte frumoase si un corp mladios. Eu iti doresc fericire vesnica alaturi de Hristos si cei dragi ai tai. Astept sa ne vedem in Rai. Speranta cuminte nu moare niciodata !
Draga Simona Pauca, am fost indragostit nebuneste de tine. Iti desenam chipul de prin ziare si reviste, eu fiind un adolescent de 16-17 ani (acum, in ian.2012 am 44). Odata m-am imbolnavit rau si spre dimineata deliram rostind numele tau drag, iar mama la capataiul meu, cu glas induiosat imi spunea : "Las-o pe ea, ca nu o poti vedea"...Atunci m-am trezit din delir si m-am resemnat ca in ultima clipa a vietii mele.
way overscored. That bronze medal should have gone to Mcnamara I felt Pauca got overscored on all of the events except beam. How could this routine get a 9.7 in team and a 9,9 in AA, when it was the exact same routine????
Ecaterina had two major breaks on the uneven bars, so she was unable to have the huge lead over Retton that she expected to have. Mary Lou got a gift when she put her hand down on the floor on the floor team event, but she was fairly scored on every other routine. Ecaterina was also overscored on both floor and vault as well, so I feel the scoring was overly high in general, but I don't think Mary Lou got the gold because of being overscored, but rather her strong Floor and Vault in AA finals
And remember, the gold goes to the perosn with the either better routines and who had the fewest mistakes. Mary Lou had superior vault and floor in the AA, Ecaterina had superior beam, and they were about equal in bars,

If Mary Lou and Ecaterina competed in the all-around with clean slates, Szabo would have won hands down. Same thing for Silivas in 88. Ah well

The gold should have gone to Ecaterina. I'm American so I'm not biased against them, but Mary Lou was overscored she should have gotten silver.

But compulsories counted then and Ecaterina's were always better than Mary Lou's.

Ecaterina had a major error in the compulsory bars and scored 9.35, that is why she lost the gold medal.
