Very complex issue. Offence is not a good criterion to justify limiting ones actions as, ultimately, if you look hard enough, you're bound to find someone who takes offense to it. Personally, I don't see burning something, within limits, as hate. Offense, maybe. But I guess I don't get the concept of "hate speach". On a personal note, I'm not fond of burning books because it seems like the act of someone who can't form an argument against it's content. But if you bought it, it's yours to burn.
