I just built my own but it is much more crude in construction. I took a wheelchair and lowered the seating position so your in between the two big wheels. Then I took the front end of a bicycle and welded it on. I use 1-1/2'' PVC for mast and boom and painters plastic for the sail.
Very cool. Im doing a design to build my own and like how yours is very stable and easy to control. For sure will be using some of your ideas. Great job!

Sure, it dismantles (folds) and fits in a Mazda Familia fine, still leaving room for three people to fit in the car - only half the back seat neds to fold down.
Pretty cool. Could this be done with a windsurfing sail or do you need more surface area?

@syrianization It is actually a windsurfer sail, and I had it adapted by a sail-maker (relatively minor and inexpensive)

Fun stuff, I'd increase the wheel width a bit.

You Kiwis can be quite ingenious! Will it fit in the trunk/boot of the average car?
