I know this is forever ago, but this point always bothers me. No other girl threw herself at Lucas the way Peyton did while L/P were together. The other women on the show have had too much self respect for that. What is beautiful, is that Lucas waited and fought for Brooke when she wasn't with him. Peyton is one of the most unselfish people in the world. She loves Lucas, she always has and always will. She's had a worse time than anyone of those characters, and Brooke knew that. Peyton was completly honest with Brooke because she couldn't stand lying to her anymore, and when she did tell the truth Brooke threw it back in her face and turned her back on her at the point that Peyton needed her the most.
