"Ja, es ist" was? Meine Muttersprache ist es nicht, und auch kein Dialekt. Ich kann das beurteilen, ich bin Deutscher. Hab mir das Gebrabbel jetzt mehrfach angehört. Die sprechen Englisch, wenn auch ein etwas seltsames.
@TommyHatcher92 You are obviously not too educated if you believe that. The Amish came from Germany and Europe, to America, along with a few other languages including Swiss, they created a "dialect", and that dialect is known as "PA Dutch". The reason for the "PA" in PA Dutch is cause they first settled into Pennsylvania.
I don't think someone who tries to sell this crap as a "German dialect" should talk about other peoples education. Of course i know where these setllers came from. Nevertheless, this isn't German. I'd call this shit shown in your bloody video a strange english accent.
@TommyHatcher92 This video is not, and was not intended to be, a big production. I have other PA Dutch videos, and while I do have my PA Dutch accent when I talk normal English, I do not think that you petty attempt to insult me has any merit. And no I am not trying to sell anything. Do you see me try to sell videos here? No I am just having fun, and teaching some people along the way. I mostly talk about the Amish, my people, but this is something I did cause it is something we used to do.
This video is intended to be a "PA Dutch video". I just fired back when you called me an idiot, which is an insult on your part.
by the way: Why do you suddenly have a "PA Dutch accent" (!) while talking normal English? I thought it was a dialect, as you said last time... You try to blame me for a reputed mistake, and then you make the same. Fail.
Of course i know that. But you didn't understand mmy las comment, did you? In said that neither this mug in your shitty video nor these poor children speak German or anything that is approximately related to my native language.
by the way: Hopefully these children aren't abuse victims. The whole scene seems quite strange...
'This is the way the ladies ride, walk walk walk walk. This is the way the gentlemen ride, trot, trot, trot, trot. This is the way the farmers ride, galloping, galloping, galloping, galloping!'
Fun stuff! We also do similar things with our kids. And I have memories of my dad playing with us that way too. Nice. Funny how the memories are rarely about the stuff but more about the time you spend with those you love! I can still hear my dad singing to me as a child. Nice - thanks for the reminder!
That's definitely not similiar to German.

@TommyHatcher92 Haha funny, I love idiots like yourself.

I'm not quite sure who's the idiot. I as a native speaker born and living in Germany know the German language approximately much better than you.
TommyHatcher92 1 year ago
@TommyHatcher92 Language yes, but to call the PA Dutch dialect an "accent", you are the idiot.

@mrdeleted
Just a question of definition. In fact, this chuntering in your crappy video isn't similiar to German.
And you are an idiot, if you try to sell this as something it isn't at least.

Ups.....i made a mistake .
Right they say :
Hoppe hoppe Reiter,
wenn erfällt, dann schreit er.
Fällt er in den Graben,
dann fressen ihn die Raben.
fällt er in den Sumpf,
dann macht er Reiter PLUMPS

Hoppe hoppe reiter
wenn er fällt dann schreit er.
fällt er in den graben
fressen ihn die raben
macht der reiter plumps
fällt er in den sumpf

Can you write the words in PA please....Thank you for sharing
jamy711 2 years ago
PA Dutch is not a written language, but it is similar to German.
mrdeleted 2 years ago
We did that to the following.
'This is the way the ladies ride, walk walk walk walk. This is the way the gentlemen ride, trot, trot, trot, trot. This is the way the farmers ride, galloping, galloping, galloping, galloping!'
This goes progressively faster.

Did you understand the words to this one?
Riding the Little House
Mile A Minute
When you fall, you must say...
Plump Plump, there you go...
mrdeleted 2 years ago
I didn't understand the words, so I am glad you translated them.
erra404 2 years ago
I made a mistake, it is not Mile a minute, it is Mile every Hour.
