  • If you want the best pastrami in NYC, then head over to one of these delis: Zabar's, Artie's, Carnegie (humongous sandwiches) or Stage. You can't go wrong in any of those places.

  • uhmmm...very good!

  • Chuck norris loves Pastrami.

  • Is this pastrami steamed or smoked?

  • i ate here 18 months ago. COme fRom AUstralia. Watching this gets my dick hard.

  • Absolutely nobody beats Langer's Deli pastrami sandwiches. Next time you are in LA get the #19.

  • i'm italian, can somebody please tell me what does the guy ask at 00:08 ? do you want some ....... too? - yea a little .....?

  • "mustard" LOL!

  • im kinda stumped why all this while, katz only has 1 store, considering their popularity and all.

I reckon they can make it big if they expand.

anyone know the reason behind the 1 store only?

  • I hope they never expand. How do you keep the quality control over a gem like this. Maybe the owner doesn't want to (or need to) expand. Since this is a world famous spot, the income the owner has made over the years probably pays the bills and then some!

  • That's a great idea!... That's actually a million dollar idea.

Imagine.. Come to grand re-opening of Trump's Taj Mahal. Enjoy the new foodcourt which includes the World Famous Katz's Deli and their Premiere Pastrami Sandwich!

Or maybe on a lower key, every shopping mall in Amerca could have a Katz's Deli next to Nathan's Coney Island Hotdogs?

  • could you send me one? lol

  • This is one of the best things about New York!

  • ive been to stage deli but whats better?

  • 14.00 bucks,,,,but worth it!

  • 14.95, and NOT worth it in my opinion, living on their reputation I'm afraid.

  • I totally agree. Nothing like the great Second ave deli, may she rest in peace

  • I just heard about 2nd avenue deli, its still there but not on 2nd ave if i'm correct? Shame i never found out about it until my return! typical.

  • its on third avenue and 34th street now and its still amazing. I just had a pastrami sandwich there yesterday actually.

  • for real??? "chicken in a pot" is my other favorite!

  • You sound like someone whose been around. Do you have a recommendation for a better pastrami sandwich in NYC?

  • Haven't found one yet!

  • I would pay $20 for the pleasure of eating their pastrami. Find me a better pastrami and I will try it!

  • how much for one pastrami sandwhich

  • Bleh... I hate the way pastrami makes your breath smell after eating it. It's one particular meat I really don't fancy.

  • I always go here for lunch and its PACKED! Gotta have the pastrami with russian dressing.

  • pbj with pastrami is awesome

  • Next time i'am in NY i want to go there.

  • Delish!!!!!!!! love this place

  • We used to go to Katz's when I was a little girl!

  • That pastrami looks very juicy and very tender...my mouth is watering.

  • @fishandfestival I hear it melts in your mouth.

  • I just watched the episode on the travel channel show " No Reservations" with Anthony Bourdain and really look forward to visiting Katz's when I can afford a vacation to New York.

    Jose Medeiros, San Jose, CA

  • Oh my god... I find the pastrami to be the most sensual of all the salted cured meats.

  • "Sensual" great adjective for this delicacy!

  • you know apstrame came to the US from bessarabian jews who called it pastrome

  • @KCMN Seinfeld fan obviously

  • Heaven.............

  • is all that for one sandwich?

  • Didn't Harry Tag Sally In The Smelly Button in the baffroom of that joint?

  • I waited almost 60 years before eating here and I'm not waiting another 60. This outdoes everything we have in Chicago, including Manny's.

  • yo vinny, you catch that show? that show was unbuhleeevabull. you said it sal.
