I wished to be known that the start of the war was not based on religious groups as you mentioned specially that cristians or druze were represented in parties, most specially "druze" were represented by the progressive socialist party which contained different religions but of course you are right that it evolved into a very religious related war. It was due mainly to the existance of Israel as our new neighbor. I hope no one forgets that.
