  • This master is dead

  • Where is this master from?

  • One of the best i ever see.

  • This is nice, with so much grace ~!!

  • @ithinkisok

  • he is a master.i can feel the power

  • Some of the best Xing Yi I have ever seen. Amazing.

  • LOL is he dancing?

  • What animal is that first move? This guy is awesome

  • same as Tai Qi, movement looks simple, all Qi behind scence you dont know. I got friend who trained TaiQi, I can feel Qi from his hand.

  • @asianboycn It's Tai ji not Tai Qi. In English, Ji (pronounced "Chi") and Qi are pronouced the same but they're different words and are pronounced differently in Mandarin. Qi means life force (or however you want to define that) while Ji means ultimate as in "Tai Chi Chuan" or pinyin: "Taijiquan" means "Supreme Ultimate Fist".

  • I am martial art man, xing yi is easy to mimic the movment, do you guys know what is hebind the scence, its Qi and some chinese philosophy. Im chinese, when reading chinese book, can not understand all, let alone foreigners...

  • Very hard to do and the understanding just seems to go on forever . I have a black shash in hebie hsing i . I switched to Shang-Xi. Much more complects and harder to learn. So im back to the high learn curve and loving it.Alot going in the video.Unless you been doing hsing i its hard to see

  • advanced level ass nigga

  • Wow!! There is no need to say anything. Anyway this is excellent Xing Yi.

  • Hi, I'm interested in Chinese martial arts, and especially about Xing-Yi, and even from my immature view this is one of the purest 功夫 that I've ever seen.

  • It's just the basic set. There isn't a whole lot in Xing Yi to "see". Xing Yi is easy to learn, but hard to do. I think the notion of "pureness" concerning martial arts is also a bit strange putting emphasis on certain irrelevant aspects.

  • No I know what you mean about pureness. But pure good Xing Yi is light and springy. Not saying this isn't. I'm just saying some use 5 element tong bei to keep it soft and springy. 5 element tong bei and xing yi are almost the same martial art.

  • My teacher had is learn them together so much so he said "My Xing Yi is Tong Bei" and they are very similar. Keep in mind though that this was 5 element Tong Bei. Some other Tong Bei teacher told me that he does not consider 5 element Tong Bei to be real Tong Bei...but I didn't care to study from his class since he didn't know what he was teaching.

  • tuei, very good, very powerfull!

  • Which form of Xing Yi is this ?

  • THis is very good. The power is clear from the backfoot. How wonderful to see something good amidst an ocean of wannabe amateurs.

  • Exactly. Most people are very "wooden" when they do Xing Yi.

  • dont diss the wannabe amateurs man :P we all start that way, and become the next generation of masters

  • This is Zhao Yongchang, student of Song Tielin.

  • For those of you who know what you're looking at, how often have you seen this level fluidity mixed with instantaneous ging? Incredible!

  • is this the 12 animal linking form?

  • Whew. This guy's xing yi is GOOOOOOD. (wow.) Not only that, can you imagine a spear in those hands while performing those techniques? MMMhmmm. :)

  • Great video. Is this Lian Ke Quan?
