What if it's not a company, but a governament? Is it any better? At least Google has a record on not losing or publishing your personal information.

If you have that many privacy concers, better get rid of you current mobile, landline, car and documents; they aren't even encrypted data.

their is media on the G1 ... there is also the Amazon mp3 store that comes pre-loaded.. and unlike itunes mp3's are not DRM protected..

Their are 2 points to Android that I Just can't shake... having everything synced with google is nice, but i don't like ALL my info to be web assessable. The second, which goes in hand with the first, is the OS's openness, which is great for REAL and innovative apps, but with all the info running in and out of that thing, i'd be too concerned to do many things on it, especially over 3G

so im guessing you don't use Iphone's mobileme.. the reason everything is synced over the web .. is os that you dont lose it... its the same information you have on your email accounts and outlooks anyway.. it doesnt publish it on the web.. it simply stores it for ONLY YOU TO ACCESS IT .. not the whole world..
