Okay a question! So you took 2 photos a day for 17 years... in those 17 years digital cameras have only generally been available since 2000... so assuming you switched over to digital in 2000, you must have taken traditional film photos for at least 9 years, twice a day. That translates into about 6570 photos in that 9 year period! How much did that amount of film cost? Never mind the developing of them or the storage!

I haven't yet switched to digital cameras (although it's inevitable at some point). You're right, I have accumulated an awful lot of prints and negatives but they all fit nicely in a few boxes. A couple years ago I stopped getting the prints and now I just get the developed negatives and a CD with scans of the negatives on it. I've never kept track of the cost.
