have both versions of Ave Maria from the Christmas albums but did not realise there was a version in english... it starts of course in latin.. thanks for posting... it is not quite Hail Mary .... but gets there never the less... I don't think this is on any album, if it is let me know... thanks for posting it...

I played this album when it came out all year long when it came out,drove my mom nuts.it was christmas all year long at my house in those days

Actually, it is a smidge better vocally than the Latin version.Just amazingly beautiful.

@comactortony She recorded the Latin version in June 1966 in London. I'm not sure, but I would guess she recorded this at about the same time.
