  • Hey Deepa , i don't know if you'll ever reply to this but i have a really helpful tip For you , I noticed You used Black eyeliner , Heres a tip that will really Brighten your eyes , Prime the inner and outer corner of your eyes And outline the corners With white liner , I dont know if oyu already Do that But that Trick works wonders for us Brown or black eye girls

  • @ilovemymusic121 i know! She's awesome!

  • So glad you mentioned the appearance of dark circles more towards than the nose and eyebrows than the triangle below the eye.. I see most people putting it under their eye, making a triangle and blending it out.. Just didn't work for me!

I enjoyed your video, please make more!

  • Wow its great to see a foundation routine done by someone who actually knows what they are talking about and about under tones and stuff :) your way better then all these teenagers who think they know what they're doing :) great job thank you

  • Very informative. Thank you for this :)

  • Have you tried the Kett foundations and what color were you? Are the olives really olive and not too golden (orange)? thanks!

  • brilliant..the same shades as me.

  • thanks for this video Deepa!! very helpful ! :)

  • im going to buy all those mac products (: very informative video! thankyou hun!

  • Just saw your videos on the recommended list! I am enjoying your tutorialss and just subbed :)

  • I know that the F&B bottle is bigger then the usual mac foundations, does the pump dispenses all of the product for the F&B?

  • @NitahBaby It's a squeeze tube with a nozzle so you don't need the pump

  • Being newbie i am so confused.. Each time I go to MAC counter i feel some sales associate are just pushin products on me rather than tellin me which one would def suit my skin... if poss can u please tell me the difference betn the Select mositure cover and studio fix concealers? it wold help novices like me a lot. I found my best foundation match in MUFE # 170. But now i wanted to give a shot to MAC.

  • No offense to your foundation application, but I actually prefer your skin before foundation. You have pretty clear skin and I don't see the dark circles you're refering to. I'm sure you'd look great with just tinted moisturizer. It would ensure that the natural contours of your face doesn't get covered too if that makes any sense.

  • to be honest with you i think the concealer looks a little too white under your eyes.

  • Love your videos and blog Deepa! I was wondering....I am very pale, shade 15 in Mac, and I always thought since I had pink undertones I should use the yellowish toned foundation to balance it out. But here you said to use the pink for pink toned skin. So is it wrong for me to use the yellow tones for foundation??

Also, my skin is extremely dry, and it flakes. I need a concealer that blends well but has good coverage, what do you recommend?

  • hi deepa, pls answer my 2 questions when ever u have time...

i use nc40 studio fix powder and nw25 moiturecover for my under eyes which works great. what shade of nc should i use as my second concealor to brighten my eye area?

and for my face blemishes which shade of studio finish should i use cuz there is no nc40 shade, and u said to use the same shade as your foundation.

i luv your blog, thank you for updating it on a regular basis! <3

  • @starlight2009x Thanks for the blog support!!

Ok, so for your NC shade under the eyes I would prob try NC30 first (just get a sample from the counter) if that doesn't work, try NC35. If those don't work, don't be afraid to try and eye brightening concealer from another line. As for you face concealer, I would think NC35 would work, but you won't know until you try. Hope that helps!

  • haha i like the bloopers at the end!

  • I thought you had foundation on at the start of the video O_O. You have gorgeous skin and absolutely don't need foundation!

  • @weebee27 Aww thanks ;)

  • deepa, r u sure abt the Select cover up concealer in NC35? Or isit NW 35?Im NC43, and my select cover up is NW35.Now I got the Pro lonwear in NW35 too

  • @faryanna I say use an NW if you're only wearing 1 concealer..I'll only throw an NC over top if I want to get brightness and extra coverage over top of my NW concealer. You're shades sound about right.

  • Hey Deepa.. Wish you a very Happy Diwali dear.. Here in Bangalore, loads of crackers being bursted.. Anyways... Great tutorial as always!! Enjoy :)

  • @mac4mia Happy Diwali to you as well!! :)

  • you kind of resemble Nina Dobrev

  • @rayvenlovesyou I've actually heard that before and it's such a compliment, thank you!

  • Love the video Deepa..thanks for doing it! Few questions: I'm an NC35, and have been using the NC30 in studio finish concealer and select..would an NC25 or lighter work better. I still think I look a bit tired, thats why I'm asking..and totally want to mask those dark circles. Also, would medium work as a mineralized skinfinish on my skintone, or would you recommend med dark? Thanks again!!

  • @DesiMakeupGrl Ok for the msfn I would try medlium or medium plus..as for the concealer, try NW either 25 or 30 studio finish, depending on how dark your circles are.. and then NC30 select over top if you want more coverage.

  • what lipstick color are u wearing, looks pretty and natural..

  • @boniOne80 It was MAC: whirl lipliner, syrup lipstick and pink poodle and boy bait lipglosses..lol I love mixing stuff up!

  • great video :) i have a question. Have you tried the mac pro long wear foundation and concealer. what are view on it if you have tried?

  • @sreeji88 Hey yes I have and I actually did a post on this on my blog: blog.deepaberar. com. I like the foundation for brides or if you're travelling somewhere hot, otherwise it can be too heavy. I really like the concealer a lot cause it gives great coverage but it's light weight. It's not a full coverage though, only medium to full.

  • thats gr8 sweetie but i dont think ur foundation matches ur skin tone .. looks a bit darker on u ... btw u dont need makeup :)

  • @MesmerEyesMakeup Thanks!

Well as for my foundation color choice, my cheeks are a lot lighter than my chin and forehead so while it makes my cheeks darker, if I go any lighter it'll look too ashy in those other areas. Plus I'm in between shades as whatever tan I got from summer is fading. I love summer skin!!

  • @DeepaBerar

i agree without that girl, but why don't you use a lighter foudation in the center of the face and keep the darker one for the rest of the face. I'm sure it would look amazing on you ;)

  • @rockinpoison89 Great tip! I'll actually go all out and do things like that for a photo shoot, but for a quick foundation routine I usually just stick to one, you know, keep it simple ;)

  • great video :) learnt so much. i have one question, whenever i set my concealer it always creases no matter what i do and no matter what product i use, what am i doing wrong? please help :)

  • @irammb What powder are you using to set?

  • @DeepaBerar Hey Deepa, i've tried alots of different types, from mac prep and prime, laura mercier secret camoflage, chanel loose power in peche, mac loose powder (forget what it's called!!) even tried mac stduio fix powder! what am i dong wrong :(
