My grandparents took me to see this movie when I was 13 and it was brand new, at the fox theater in Atlanta, GA. In 2001, my sweetheart bought this movie for me. You couldn't get it in the USA at the time, so he ordered it from China. I was the same as the main characters at the time. Such a fun time to grow up.

This was my favourite movie of all time, fell in love with Jack when I saw him as the Artful Dodger in Oliver right away and even joined his fan club. I cried when I heard he had gone but believe he is now in one of Gods Mansions! RIP Jack:)

Mark Lester was a great actor. In the movie "Oliver" I cried at how perfectly he portrayed the character.

Still amazes me Jack wild was 17 when he made this film.My favourite film of all time. The original name of this film was S.W.A.L.K. but was changed to Melody for viewers in the USA and Japan. I fell in love aged 10 in 1971 with Tracy Hyde and still love her to bits.Melody was a huge hit in japan.Any ?? on the film please ask i have hundreds of memorabilia items mostly from Japan and the U.S.
