You saw him in "The Protester". Now he is back in "Son of the Protester"... Bernard Hinault as Bernard Hinault. Some unknown guy as "Son of the Protester"
The Tour organizers should institute a new doping penalty: anyone who tests positive has to spend five minutes in a small room with Bernard Hinault and a ballpoint pen.
The fact that everyone kept asking him, "Monsieur Basso, why do you wear zee yellow vest?" ;-)
I loved the headline on VeloNews: "Don't Badger me, bro!"
My opinion of Hinault went up exponentially after this incident. What an awesome response! No hesitation, just "Get the F outta here!" effectiveness. I would have been all for smacking the protester around a bit as well; give him a few souvenirs to take home with him. :-)
Fast reaction and well done by Hinault. There must be some limit to what protesters can do... don't disrupt the TDF podium presentation, please! BTW thanks for posting :)

Great to see that the Badger is still very much THE BADGER. He jumped all over it, without hesitation. Well done!

Long live the Badger. Lucky that wasn't in America, some female prosecuting attorney would want too put him in jail for that.
