They are designed for critical listening purposes i.e for engineers to be able to sort out the wrong frequencies so that when consumers like yourself listen to your tune on your Dre Beats or W/E it is that you own it sounds good. Koss make some half decent gear but not for $8, lool. Not sure what you've been smoking but it ain't weed, must be crack or penis.
