  • Isn't there a button combination you can hold on the gamecube controller that's in slot 4? You insert a game and it'll update the wii? It'll make it a virgin but still...

  • @PIKACHU49386 yes, if you mod the gamecube controller and press up down left and right on the d-pad at the same time while it is hooked up in slot 4 while the wii is on, it will go into recovery mode and you can then install the system menu from any wii disc that includes an update, like guitar hero world tour or New SMB wii. Harder to do than bootmii, but if all else fails, check it out.

  • will this fix a semi brick??? and if i recover my wii will it erase all my ios and files bcuz i do not have those files????or will it recover it just as i saved it will all my files

  • You do not show what the bricked Wii does. you brick the wii, and then right afterwards, you restore. you don't even show the brick screen.

  • It says It can't find Boot2. but I have it is an IOS installed

  • @crazymetroid thts what mine says too

  • @IHoawwakeyes : nvm I got mine to work

all I had to do was load up priiloader and click on install filesor something like that and laod up Boot.elf again. That way I installed it as boot2 and works :D

  • @crazymetroid idk how this worked but i had 4.3u and i went into homebrew channel and installed ios249 rev19 with wad manager and it unbricked.... idk

  • @IHoawwakeyes : lol weird

  • i have to hack wii 1 softmodded and other 1 is brick can i use my restore bootmii to unbricked it

  • every time i start my wii the bootmii menu comes up, but i can't use my wii remote.

Then i pull out the SD card (which btw is a SDHC) and restart. Then the wii starts like normal.. help please?

  • @MCTV1000Faqs You need to use either the gamecube controller or the buttons on the wii itself

  • ut funny

  • I don't need two sd card to do this right?

  • @uagniza you only need 1 sd card with at least 512 mb of space

  • Can someone please send me boot 2 file from bootmii. I lost my one.

  • so if you get it as an ios, how can you make it like a boot2?

  • @NintendoTobi you could make it like a boot2 by having it be launched through priiloader

  • i have the same problem.

  • my old wii is safe with boot2 install... wiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

  • lol =P wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

  • not sure what you should do then.

  • install a cios36 with the fakesigning bug fix in it.

  • This is because your wii is newer. And from what I heard nintendo actually physically patched the chip on the wii so bootmii can't be installed on boot2. So your wii is still at risk of being bricked.

  • you forget to mention that this will help no one unless they had bootmii installed preferably to boot2 and backed up their nand before the brick.

  • I installed bootmii to boot2 is that good? i used the SD i use to put apps on my wii. Should i have saved it on another SD?

  • help my wii apears normal says press A then it shows sytem curopt see wii munual to help troubleshooting

  • Thanks if so!

  • I just wanted to ask you can i boot in bootmii without installion? because, i tried booting with my SD card it won't come on, is just a black screen everytime.

  • ive been trying to fix my wii but no luck.

its fully brick. i turn it on and the green light shows, but the screen in the tv is black. i cant even go pass the press a to continue screen.

does anyone know how to fix this problem?

plese help. message me if you do =[

  • you have a nand.bin that i can use? or no

  • the nand backups can only be used on the wii that you got it off of

  • but anytitledeleter contains extensive brick blocking....

  • I'm going to post a new video soon of a full brick, absolutely nothing left on the wii, it will be a lot shorter also because of bootmii beta2

  • so let me get this straight i can unbrick a fully bricked wii i mean i dont get anything but a black screen and its possible to fix it without sending it in?

  • This would only help you unbrick a fully bricked wii if you had it previously had it installed and previously made a complete nand dump

  • haha cool :)
