Yep. My girlfriend was hit head on by an older model large body Buick LeSabre. The Elantra was totaled, but it took the crash quite well, and she (my girl) walked away from the scene without a scratch.

@fegue2, in the real world you aren't so safe. If a Yukon or Tacoma or something like that hits you, it's going to plow through your car like butter.
