I really wanted this to be real, but the part with the grinder is fake. The man is holding a completed piece of work and simply retracing the lines.  There is no way the grinder he was using could generate the perfect circle around the soldiers head without a change to the cut depth or direction. This was a show for tourist so he could mark up the price. To bad :(

Don't be fooled, it is a CNC controlled robot, made to look like a master craftsman. These Japs are so cleaver at making them.
