Another hard one to cover. . and yet again you managed to capture the sound and the feel . . these are truly the best Hendrix covers I have heard on You Tube. . what type of amp are you using . . the mid 80's Marshall Mosfet that you had in another video if I remember correctly . . a great sounding solid state Marshall.

@flowerdrop1 i see your point but close your eyes for a bit and just listen to the riffs. Can you do likewise? i sure can't--not even close. Man--is that all that matters--the way they DRESS? This was just a jam or rehearsal they recorded on the fly. Thank God cats like these are keeping the REAL music alive in an era where mediocrity abounds in the art world and many other places as well.

I just noticed he strings his strat backwards like jimi he used to play a right handed strat but placed the strings for left handed thats really cool but extreamly hard to learn guitar that way BB kings brother plays a flying V but the strings are set up for a right handed person so his heavier sting is on the bottom try and learn guitar that way....no thanks

I'm missing that one intense part of the solo but I'm not sure Hendrix could duplicate that. (I did see a guitarist from a band called 'Groundstar' from DC knock it out once.)

Strictly a matter of taste, I like this drummer, fits this style to the tee although you do make a good point, that jazz shuffle like style of Mitch put Jimi's music on another level. IT really depends on the song as to what drummer would be better.

I have never seen any cover of this Hendrix classic ever and I'm quite impressed. Plus your own touches of this do not diminish from it at all, very much in the spirit of Jimi's style. Nice wah-wah/tremolo work there...wicked.
