Yeah, sry but this version is way to quiet to be a pearl jam cover, To the axe player, he should play that paul in the background with a way more uncontrolable and louder distorion, the drummer needs to play with more anger and excitment. I think that the bass player needs a 12 string to even think about doing this song. and the singer needs to sound more rough and harsh and less softly. All in all the band needs to be louder and harder to try to cover pearl jam

i DO like this version very much. and im a HUGE pj fan. i almost feel they could release this as a remake and it would def. get radio play. the only thing i dont like is that the verse guitar part is off from the original...like it's repeating same riff over and over. the real version is that riff for the first part then A for the second.

This singer sings it better than Eddie Vedder. My reason being is he has more power, range and conviction in his voice. At the last part of the song where it goes "whooa" he sings that better than the Eddie Vedder of today. I've seen Pearl Jam twice recently and Eddie struggles at the last part of the song as his voice tends to squeak. Obviously the Vedder of the 90s sung this song the best, but as it stands now this singer does a better job of the song than the Eddie of today.

I'm a big Pearl Jam fan, seen them twice once in San Francisco and at Reading Festival. But this guy does sing the song better than Eddie Vedder of 2006, the Eddie Vedder of 1991 sung this song to perfection better than anybody. But as it stands the vocalist in this video excels his power much better than Eddie Vedder of 2006. For example live Vedder struggles to do the final "whoa", however this guy does it really well.
