@pippen92 Bullcrap. Total bullcrap. If you turn it off with the killswitch, all you do is cut the ignition. When you kill it with the ignition it's much better because it disconnect's ALL the power, which means you're not losing any battery power.
If you keep it turned on with ignition but engine is dead, you can jumpstart it after like 20 minutes, probably even less if you have an old battery. I'm much more a fan of an electric or kickstarter.

why wouldnt it be good for it to turn it off with the key? it more or less serves the same purpose except it kills power to everything

just fyi it's not good for your bike to turn it off with the key, better to use the kill switch on the right bar.
