Most cameras would have recorded it fine. I would assume that the cameras available to the Ukrainians at that time weren't as modern as cameras in the rest of the world because it had only been independent from the Soviet Union for 5 years.

Hm. That piece looks pretty challenging. It'd probably take at least a month of practice, let's say two to three hours a day... very impressive, really. I mean, I've never heard it before, but I've been playing for 10 years and I'm probably nowhere near close to being able to play this, so it's really impressive.
