@mdol88 + + + 100 % not enough pull, no hands work, poor entry to many steps…
This performance chip show off . Blue gay 1 head taller and falling just because he was told to fall ….. and in video not 1 throw but few deferent (sorry if some one can differentiate “in thigh swing” from “on thigh lift”)
White bring no one up (it is basic biomechanics you not capable to understands - sign of mental disability ), it is clear blue go up himself to please master . It is not judo it is aikido style bullshit. - Master need do no thing, students will flip for him….
Last comment because you're obviously either a troll or a stupid teen, but look at white's arms when he goes in for uchi mata. Left arm is pulling uke forward and up, right arm is pulling up and forward. Anyone who ever did any grappling can see that clearly. So like I said I'm done commenting here, have fun trolling.
I hope you can answer my question because I never knew if it was true or not.. When your sensei is wearing a red and white belt you can't throw him is it right? As I know you can only throw your sensei when he's wearing the black one.. :s now I'm confused..
I've been taught that red belts and such are ceramonial and that you are not aloud to throw them (while they are wearing the cerimonal belt) even if they spar with you.
yea, black's the sparing belt but it depends on your sensei. i know one who's got the 8th dan and doesn't really care whether he's wearing his black or colored belt. he's gard to throw eather way^^
well, i'm practicing judo for 12 years now and fighting inter alia in germany's 1st league. and i'm not ashamed of anything. what i wrote was just what my sensei a
8th dan and 7th place of the olympic games told me. the black belt is for fighting.
you have 5 dan's black. and then from 6th to 10th dan is red or red & white. red and white separate are also used in competition to see who's uke and who's tori.
So much wrong with your statement. 1-5th dan is black, 6-8 is red & white, and 9-10th dan is solid red.
Why would you have a competition where somebody is uke and somebody is tori? What would be the point, since only one person would be doing the throwing?
Maybe you mean, 'red & white belts are worn in competition to make it easier to referee'.
He's right, because the red and white distinguish the two competitors so you know who threw and who fell (tori and uke) and can mark the advantage in the board. (if both are using a white gi obvously)
Yeah, but in some competions (when there were no blue gi's for example) one fighter used a red belt and another used a white to distinguish them. Now, in some competions where the use of blue gi is not compulsory those belts are still used.
I never knew there was a grey belt?

Why's everyone talking about belt colors? This video's about uchi mata, not belts.

I guess not speaking french doesn't help since they clearly say they are showing two types of uchi-mata?

@KingColliwog If you watch to many “ninja” movie you may believe to any thing.
Also blue stay high, and than go up to help flip him self ….
Pure show off….
White do no thing to unbalance …
Straight legs entry – dead entry.
NZSambo 1 year ago
@NZSambo I don't watch ninja movies sorry.
Blue gets high because white brings him there with kuzushi. If you can't even see that you really have 0 knowledge in grappling.
White is smaller than blue, he bends his knees a little but doesn't need to bend them a whole lot to get under blue's center of gravity.
Show us your perfect technique or shut up.Or just keep spreading bullshit, it's not like you have any credibility

Précision : C'est la forme koshi-waza, pas la forme ashi-waza.
Precision: it is the koshi-waza form, not the ashi-waza

Wow -This is such a beautifully executed technique!
Funny though that there is a whole page of comments talking about "color of the belt" hehe Beware of the color-blindness :) Peace

@pe1er1 Couldnt agree more! One of the best executions of Uchi Mata on this site and thats including Inoue!

Red and white signifies 6th, 7th or 8th Dan. For 9th and 10th a red belt is worn by the judoka.

I haven't taken french in 2 years, but the video is explanatory enough. My sensei just taught us uchi mata today.

If you're doing randori with your sensei, you're supposed to throw him no matter what color his belt is.

'Sparring' ? Clearly you don't actually practice Judo, or know anything about it. And if you do, you should be ashamed of yourself.

I used to do this technique but once a guy countered with a sutemi (I don"t remember wich )
and he almost twist my ankle. So now I have fear to try Uchi Mata and inside legs throws again .
