@lcplic this was actually a little while back. I've changed to a 71mm turbo vs a 66mm and upgraded the pump, added a cam and some headwork. 733hp/1305ft/lbs on fuel on a dynojet 248. Ran a 12.16 on fuel only tonight at Little River Dragway. I thought I'd get into the 11's tonight, but the track wasn't perfect.
60ft: 1.77, 1/8: 7.76 @ 88.65, 1/4: 12.1640 @ 109.94. Couldn't hook very well, the truck has cut a 1.5 60ft before. Yes, I've got a couple of videos, but they aren't very high quality. Had a friend using my camera, he only got a couple of vids. I'll post up the one's I've got. The best vid I have is of my first run @ 12.7 with a 2.XX 60ft. I was a little gun shy on the first one. And the guy next to me ran an 11.27 in an 04 QC SB.
@torqmuch damn it, i may have to buy a new cord for my camera, I can't find that bastard tonight. Vid's will be uploaded lol, just might have to wait til tomorrow.
yeah im not too worried bout haulin more people lol i like driving and to be a driver u cant have a busload of people flying around when u take a 45mph turn at 80mph the 25mph country turns around where i live are taken at 50 just cruising and 70 when im in a rush haha and i can tow a good 10 to 12000lbs if i need to and still get good gas mileage and all my vids dont have any drugs either i put NOS Octane Boost (raises it from 93 pump to 101octane for 25gallons and i use 2 bottles normally)
ur talkin bout throw it in his bed... yeah probly but in mine that would make it way off id lose by a mile lol but my buddy just bought a 2006 cummins laramie edition qc dodge ram 3500 and he wants to haul trailers and drag race 8000lbs a piece i think id still get him tho cuz ive towed a 8000lbs trailer and 2000lbs of lumber and concrete in the bed and it still had a lot of get up
0to60 in a lil over 5 seconds like my truck then 0to80 in 7 seconds and 0to90 in 9 seconds ....my truck is 0to60 in 5.3ish 0to80 in 7 to 7.5 and 0to90 in 10 or 11 and how much did it cost to get ur truck to do that it only cost me a muffler and superchip totalling at like $550 (600 with shipping and i did everything myself) that probably cost you a couple thousand
That's at 12 psi, not 15 or 20. Fuel only too, no drugs. It's apples to oranges in the cost department. It takes a hell of a transmission to hold 1300+ ft/lbs. I use my truck for more than going fast; I'm sure it cost me quite a bit more; but it'll haul me and 5 extra people with 5 horse goosneck in tow.
did you leave it in 4wd when running that fast? or did you kick it out?
