@patient451 you can't play as well in the WC with a squad as shallow as our US squad was in 2010 (or now, for that matter). Players like Gooch and Holden and DAVIES were available for this game in 2009. Gooch made sure those short little Spaniards couldn't connect a single cross, Holden is bomb but underrated (my opinion), and Charlie Davies was the speedy, strong, little bulldog of a forward that we were soooo missing in WC2010. not their fault man, we still won England's group, be proud! :)

if you look closley, the first altidore goal the ball was not won by altidore, it was a spanish defender that kicked it in front of altidore!!!!!!

@jibur4 if you look closely at 0:35 you can see the spaniard try to clear the bal but his leg motion puts in front of altidore, and again if you look closely altidore ddidn't even move his legs to take the ball

@callofdutyguy9 if look closely at the movement of the ball, you'll see that the direction of the ball doesn't change. The spanish defender was very close to touching it, but if he did, i pretty sure the ball would of gone out for a corner kick.
