This episode got so many things wrong. Tails's voice we can let slide since it could be written off as his voice cracking, but everything else is just wrong. Princess Sally? Swat bots? Different running sounds? This isn't Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. It's SatAM with Adventures Robotnik. Still, it's all worth it because haPINESS is always so much more enjoyable. :3

@pokedude9OO Well actually a mini-crossover. But I would really enjoy it if they brought back the original AoSth (complete with the original sound effects and Tails' original voice for this series), SatAm, Sonic Underground, and Sonic X (mostly season 3) with an extreme crossover between all 4 shows. I can just imagine the 3 Tails' (AoSth Tails, SatAm Tails, and Sonic X Tails) reaction when they see each other.

@pokedude9OO Plus, if you look at Sonic he has his short tail that he has in the other 3 shows when, in the other 65 episodes of this show, he didn't have the tail before.

@pokedude9OO Another thing is that now Sonic has the two diagonal lines of quills coming from his back while, in the "regular" episodes, he just had the one line down the middle of his back before.

I love this show! I'm a huge sonic fan and grew up watching AOSTH from the age of 4. However, I was massively disappointed by this one episode :/ To much had changed. New voice for Tails, Sally Acorn appearance, human looking background characters, it was set in a new location, the animation was different, and generally I thought the writing just wasn't up to scratch (no pun intended.) For me every other episode is flawless, but this one just changed to many things!

The only thing I find this Christmas Special a little weird is the sound effect of Sonic's speed. It sounds like the one used in SatAM.
