Very nicely played. I hadn't heard this arrangement before. If I were a professional piano player (I'm very VERY amature), I could probably nit-pick at inconsistencies -- but those kind of things are really handled by the answer to the old joke: "How do I get to Carnegie Hall?" - "Practice, practice, practice." Very nice! Keep it up!
You might have sped up during the Carol of the Bells section, but that might be because you wanted it slightly faster and you started a bit slow on the other sections. Or I just naturally play this 10% faster than you. :) Nevertheless, you've got this down!
i am playing that piece on the piano right now and i think that was wonderful. I went to Jim Brickman's holiday concert and fell in love with the piece. great job!
I really like this. I personally tried to play it and it will definately take some time to learn. The only thing I think you should do is bring out the melody a little bit more....but I love it. Even the dynamics were good....or so I thought.
@Sarahloveshorses Thank you very much! This particular piano is in my church. It's an old Howard and one has to play it much like a gorilla would. The action is very hard. I try to bring out melodies and exaggerate the dynamics when I play on this piano. It's one of the most difficult things about being a pianist, you just have to take what you can get when it comes to the instrument.
You are a wonderful piano player! I have been playing the piano for the past 9 years, and personally I thought the pedal was fine. And whenever I record myself playing, the pedal always sounds like it is used more when heard through the camera. I love this arrangement by Jim Brickman. They're my two favorite Christmas songs. I hope you continue to upload more videos of you playing. I subscribed to you!
@jakebebar Thanks for subscribing! I'm sorry that it's taken me so long to respond to your comment. I plan to upload more vids but sometimes life gets in the way. Stay tuned though! You never know when I might put a new one up!
Personally I'd like to hear less pedal while you're playing, and more dynamics throughout the song. I'm always picky about stuff like that though. It sounds great other than that! :D
Thanks for watching and commenting. I agree that this piece could probably use some more dynamics. I was just trying to get it played and recording as quickly as possible.

In playing this, I dont find the piece that huge of a challenge to PLAY... but reading it is awful. So many ties and rests xD
