I was enjoying this video very much until the part about depression... I suffer from it, so instead of laughing at everyone else I have to laugh at myself now too... not cool Mister Sharp, not cool.
@rar288 I know what you mean. I felt a stab of pain when it got to the depression part, since the description in the video is what I've pretty much been telling myself the whole time (namely that I'm pretty much a worthless person and I'm just using depression as an excuse), but then I thought, "well, it's still pretty funny anyway" and laughed. xD
As a psychology major, I love this. Psychology definitely has a crazy past that I can't help but laugh at. The video picked some of the best ones to make fun of. Keep making these videos please!
While I did find the comedy of this video notable, I'd like to address that you have ignored the other areas of psychology that contain countless of valid studies. You only addressed behavioral psychology and psychoanalytic. Two areas of the psychological history that are not as popular as they were. Though behavior therapy is more noted than psychoanalytic. Nonetheless, good attempt.
@thatquietgirlbecky Fair points indeed. Though I did have a limited amount of time (i try to keep them short) Thank you very much for watching and paying attention though :{)
you forgot about treating mental illnesses with electrocution dude... a couple of electrodes to the nipples and 50,000 volts and they are either cured or dead - both are better than madness actually...
I was very much expecting to be shown the opposite example as well for the delusional woman: the thin one who thinks she weighs a ton.

Thank you for pointing out the idiocy of psychology. When I tell people that psychology is not a real science, they usually don't believe me.
