@PeaceSignsX u don't have to, especially if u don't use straighteners or curlers a lot, but it's probably for the best. It creates a layer of moisture and oil on ur hair so ur hair won't burn. The more it burns the more damaged and frizzled it gets. To be technical, ur hair is made of protein and heat breaks down protein, so heating ur hair alot would harm your hair.

@PeaceSignsX The heat protector just prevents damage to the hair when using heat, for example, split ends... If you don't use heat protector, it's fine. But it's recommended if you apply heat to your hair daily ;D

hi bubz. :) i have just got my new curling wand. it's not the exact same one that you used, but it's a wand. i had curled my hair for school, and i put it on the highest temperature ( 400 degrees ) because it says to if you have long, thick hair ( which i do ) but nobody even noticed that it was curly, they all told me it was more 'wavy'. i did exactly what you did. what do you think happened :(

@boobooluzcupcakez Ask your hair dresser for lots of short layers on top and have it thinned on the bottom. Her hair tapers all the way down in many layers. Like, her whole head is multiple layers.
